Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Aptina Imaging is a division of Micron Technology. As a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer at Aptina in San Jose, California, you will be designing and implementing leading edge firmware solutions for embedded image processing solutions.
You will be responsible for architecture and realization of platform FW designs to be used within Aptina’s products for mobile phones, digital still cameras, notebook computers, surveillance cameras and automotive camera applications.
- Successful candidates for this position will have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience of high performance embedded firmware design and implementation.
- 3 years experience of embedded C.
- A good understanding of requirements gathering and software design processes.
- Current knowledge of software development best practices.
- Good communication and mentoring skills.
- Familiarity with HW/FW debug techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of DS
Education:
MSCS/MSEE plus 5 years experience or equivalent (i.e. BSEE/BSCS plus 10 years).
