Software Applications Engineer

Aptina Imaging is a division of Micron Technology. In this cutting edge role at Aptina, you will be writing GUI applications for cameras on embedded platforms and desktops. We will be using the latest embedded processors and technologies. You would be responsible for gathering requirements, design and implementation of applications. We are looking for candidate with creative ideas on how to demonstrate the features of our CMOS image sensors.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- 3 years of experience developing GUI applications on embedded systems and 5 years GUI development on desktops.
- Linux experience a must.
- Windows mobile/CE/Symbian or other Operating Systems a plus.
- Experience writing QT applications required.
- GTK is a plus.
- Experience with camera/video applications required.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Android and Java applications a plus.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
