Senior Imager Pixel Development Engineer

Aptina Imaging is a division of Micron Technology. As an Imager Pixel Development Engineer at Aptina in San Jose, California, you will be responsible for developing Aptina's advanced CMOS image sensor pixel technology. In this position, you will work on new pixel designs, optimize pixel layouts and process, develop pixel process modules, and support imager products on pixel related issues.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Experience in CMOS/CCD imager pixel design, process development/integration, and pixel characterization/simulation.
- Excellent device physics and good optics skills.
- Experience in semiconductor microelectronic/optoelectronic device design, process development, and manufacture.
- Good knowledge of CMOS process flows, design rules and layout design.
- A high level of motivation and innovation.
- The ability to aggressively execute complex process experiments and focus on solving problems individually or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to effectively accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Experience with the evaluation of process-related data such as probe, parametric, test, cross-sections, layout, material analysis (including SIMS, XPS, EDS, SEM, and TEM), and data analysis (using software such as RS/1, JMP, and Excel).
Education:
MS or PhD or equivalent foreign education in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or other similar field is required.
