Imager New Part Process Integration Engineer

Aptina Imaging is a division of Micron Technology. CMOS image sensors are used in a variety of products including cell phones, PDAs, digital still cameras, automotive products, medical products, and high-resolution security cameras. As a CMOS Imager New Part Integration Engineer at Aptina, you will be responsible for bringing up production of all new designs for Micron Imager products & test chips.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- Previous experience in process integration or related experience requiring a similar skill set and level of responsibility.
- The ability to efficiently evaluate physical and electrical data, write and analyze experiments, and evaluate and understand Fab conversions and their effect on existing and future part types.
- A high level of motivation, a goal-oriented personality, and the ability to execute under aggressive timelines.
- The ability to effectively work with engineers from Micron fabs and/or external foundries. This position will occasionally require business travel for integration of new designs/process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with the evaluation of various types of process-related data, including probe, parametric, test, short-loop, FEMs, and cross-sections.
- Knowledge of CMOS or Imager-specific process flows and common failure mechanisms.
- Knowledge of device physics.
- Experience with data analysis software such as Jmp, RS1, and Excel.
- The ability to work with a wide variety of people in different areas of Manufacturing, Design, PE, and R&D.
- The ability to effectively accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of layout databases, OPC models, reticle verification/signoffs, and scribe-line test structures also preferred.
Education:
BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a similar field.
