- Site: Boise, Idaho
Aptina Imaging is a division of Micron Technology. As a CMOS Imager Foundry/Production Integration Engineer at Aptina in Boise, ID, you will be responsible for maintaining production products. You will review process changes, assist with debug of yield and excursion issues, and monitor/highlight quality and reliability concerns. Keeping multiple fabs aligned in terms of process metrics, pixel performance, and device parametrics will be critical. You will also participate in the process transfer to external foundries, while ensuring product quality and reliability. Some overseas travel will be required as you will be an interface between the foundry and Aptina engineers.
Other responsibilities in this role may require you to work with operations, marketing, production, product engineering, and Process Engineering. You must be able to handle most standard process issues individually and when necessary, organize engineering teams to solve difficult issues. You will evaluate physical and electrical data, write and analyze experiments.

- Participate in MOR updates and meetings
- Monitor mature parts, and Aide in fixing yield and quality issues by leveraging data from all manufacturing sites (as appropriate) and the Aptina PI team
- Monitor, compare, and report on key metrics at each manufacturing site. This includes manufacturing metrics such as CD/films, and all params. Use individual fabs and spice models as benchmarks. Report regularly to Aptina management
- Efficiently evaluate physical and electrical data, recommend SWRs and understand results, and evaluate and understand all Fab conversions and their effect on existing and future part types. Understand how conversions will move process and performance vs. benchmarks
- Central Quality PI contact. Review Aptina and foundry SWR and excursions for shipability
- Assist in transfer of processes and products, including fab, CFA, and Wafer Level Modules, to new production facilities for Aptina. This means in-depth project and technical management of all transfers
