- Site: Boise, Idaho
As a FEOL/MOL (Front End of Line/Middle of Line) Senior Process Integration Engineer at Aptina Imaging, you will be responsible for developing the next generation FEOL/MOL process technology, which includes isolation, gate oxide, gate stack, spacer, spike annealing, and salicidation modules. In this position, you will develop and optimize the FEOL/MOL CMOS Imager process flow that maximizes yield and performance, as well as margin and ease of manufacturing.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
- At least 5 years of experience R&D process integration and process module development on 90 nm and newer isolation, gate oxide, gate stack, spacer, spike annealing, and silicidation technologies.
- Proficiency in developing/defining salicidation design rules.
- Proficiency in defining and reviewing, setting up parametric testing of, and characterizing FEOL/MOL test structures, including salicidation characterization test structures.
- Knowledge of gate oxide reliability testing.
- Familiarity in OPC (Optical Proximity Correction).
- Experience in salicide, spike annealing, and low thermal budget module development.
- Knowledge of FEOL/MOL common failure mechanisms.
- Experience with physical and electrical evaluation of various types of process related data, which includes probe, parametrics, test, short-loop, cross-sections, layout (Cadence, df2, K2), and material analysis (SIMS, XPS, EDS, SEM, and TEM).
- A willingness and ability to provide support in multiple areas of the FEOL/MOL process flow as needed.
- Experience with data analysis software such as Jmp, RS1, and Excel.
- The ability to work with, interface with, and communicate with a wide variety of people and groups in different areas of R&D, manufacturing, product engineering, and design.
- A highly motivated, goal-oriented personality.
